Northend Agent’s was created 37 years ago in 1974 by John R. Allen, a trailblazer in publishing and household name in the African American Greater Hartford Community. Today, the print publication has an extensive circulation that reaches thousands of Hartford residents and beyond. Its mission is to focus on the Greater Hartford area as a vehicle for businesses, organizations and residents.
In view of the economic and social issues facing all of us, it is imperative that we are well-informed citizens who participate in the decision-making process of our elected officials at a local and national level.
