When there was rumbling and grumbling about how President Joesph R. Biden should step down from running for President of the United States of America. They used the excuse of ageism and one poor debate performance to push Biden aside.
The outpouring of disrespect and ageism intensified after the debate. The political wolves smelled blood and were preparing to pounce. Not only was the attack coming from the opposition which was expected. It was coming from within the Democratic Party which was unexpected.
Many “so-called” democrats turned their backs on the hard-working, kind gentleman who is our current president. While others kept their mouths shut. Either way you look at it they are disloyal punks. President Biden has done a stellar job throughout his term.
The same disloyal people had a bad case of amnesia when it came to President Biden’s accomplishments. He saved the country from disaster after Covid and did a masterful job rebuilding the economy. Thank you, Joe.
They continued commenting on the obvious, the president’s age and health. President Biden had and still has the political skills to thwart Nancy Pelosi and George Clooney’s (with his New York Times Op-Ed) plans to oust and replace President Biden. The whole situation was done in a manner that was “messy” and so disrespectful. Politics is a very dirty cutthroat game.
Joe Biden knows the game and how it is played. He had his own game plan. I am glad he was one step ahead of them. I also had the feeling the democratic power players wanted to bypass Vice President Kamala Harris for another candidate. Gavin Newsom the California.
Just minutes after President Biden stepped aside from the presidential campaign, he performed the most unselfish and noble act to ensure our democracy remain intact. He endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris the heir apparent. Few people in that position would have given up their immense power for the greater good of the country. This foiled their plan to install their chosen candidate the golden boy, Gavin Newsom. Checkmate!
The announcement stunned a lot of people who doubted Vice President Harris was not capable of stepping into the role of President. They were quickly proven wrong. She showcased her political skills she acquired throughout the years of public service and her “Black Girl Magic”.
The world is now in awe of the sizable donations and the record-breaking and diverse crowds she continues to draw. Including in precious swing states. I don’t even need to mention her debate performance that had Trump frazzled.
At the 2024 Democratic National Convention it was clear to all who watched is we have a special person at the top of the ticket. She has transformed and energized the entire Democratic Party. The Democratic Convention looked like the diverse American population. The Democratic platform addressed issues that affect families. The Republican Convention was the opposite. Not inclusive and mainly white people similar to a country club in the 1950s. The Republican platform is based on lies and Project 2025.
Just Google Project 2025 it’s the latest sinister Republican strategy to oppress the black and brown people. Project 2025 will directly affect the lives of the already disenfranchised and marginalized black and brown people. The wealthy won’t feel any differently if the Department of Education is dismantled. Private schools are not structured or funded like public schools. If the Department of Education doesn’t exist anymore the private schools will continue business as usual. Unfortunately, public schools spiral into deeper chaos without guidelines from the Department of Education. Can you imagine separate but equal again? God forbid.
I don’t have the space to continue with Project 2025 please research it yourselves. There is something in it that should offend and upset everyone.
If these political strategists know what I know, as does every other Black person in America, is that Black people elect presidents. All the presidents in my lifetime would not have been elected without the support of the black voters. We may not show up during the midterm elections but in presidential elections we are faithful and consistent.
Now every democrat should turn all the attention toward Trump the 34 times convicted felon who hung out with Jeffery Epstein and is currently selling bootleg bibles even though he can’t tell you what his favorite scripture is. What true Christian believes Trump is a practicing, Christian? His actions lead me to believe he has no clue how Jesus Christ behaved or even how Christians are supposed to behave. Has he even read one chapter in the bible? He is selling the bible even though he couldn’t tell the reporter who asked him his favorite scripture. Yet he continues to garner support of the Evangelical Christians.
Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz are the winning team. Their actions and platform reflect true Christian perspectives which include all Americans. Caring for our neighbors and being kind. They are also more qualified to run the country than the Trump Vance team.
We all cannot be complacent in this election cycle please find the time to vote. Vote especially for down ballot candidates. The only way to ensure the success of Harris Walz administration is to control the Senate and take back the House of Representatives. This will give them the power to do some good work for all Americans. Remember November 5th is election day don’t forget to Vote.
