History Made! World Dance Champions Dejavé Dance Company from Hartford CT!

Dejavé Dance Company of Hartford CT made history this week as the First Dance Company from Hartford CT to win the  highly coveted World Dance Championship Trophy 2024!!!

“After 6 years of working for this goal they did it !” said Directors/Studio Owners, Deje’ and Deve’ Ann Bennett, who also were selected to the prestigious National Circle of Excellence.

Dejavé Dance Company also placed top 5 in the World with their Afro-Caribbean Piece “Bacchanal”, costumes and giant butterflies by Hartford artist and Giant puppeteer Ann Cubberly!

They placed Second in the World for their Production “ Iconic”, their homage to Icons like, Dame Shirley Bassey, Janet Jackson, Beyonce and Madonna!

They also placed Second in the World for their explosive Hip-hop, ”Turn It Up!”

Their youngest members were selected in the Top Ten in the World for “Dream Chasers” and also won a scholarship for Excellence!
