Editor’s Letter March 21, 2018

Black women have been the ones who have untiringly birth civilizations. We have been the gatekeepers of the black community. We spend countless moments putting ourselves secondary to the needs of our families and communities. For all that we do we’re greeted with a lack of support and protection, misogynist and sexism. We are simply unappreciated and it’s exhausting. We are expected to master being strong, vulnerable and figuring everything out. In addition to giving ourselves permission to walk away from the things that are no longer detrimental to us.

As a result of that we decided to create the Goddess Edition an edition that celebrates us without limitations. Goddess this is a reminder of how divinely special you are to this world00, to our people, to our family.. This edition serves as a reminder for the importance of self-care and the necessity to lay down your load. So, explore these ideologies and opportunities that are to your benefit.

We are excited about learning some new concepts with our readers as well as connecting with shared experiences. We hope that as we share in this journey together we’re able to explore some new things with the inclusion of our Muslim brothers and sisters and our “woke” kinfolk.

As always please email us any feedback you have for this edition and the changes we’re continuing to make to sallen@northendagents.com . If you’re not already doing this please be sure to follow us on all social media platforms.

May God’s Love, Peace, Health and Prosperity Be Yours

Editor-in-Chief
