ActUp Theater, a Black-women-led performing arts organization, is excited to announce its upcoming production of DREAMGIRLS, running December 12–15, 2024, in Hartford, Connecticut. This iconic musical showcases the powerful narrative of ambition, resilience, and the triumphs of Black artists breaking into the music industry during the 1960s and 1970s. As ActUp Theater celebrates its 10th anniversary of mobilizing the arts, this performance is a fitting tribute to the company’s ongoing commitment to promoting equity and diversity within the arts community.

In addition to individual tickets for the 5 performances, ActUp Theater is offering special group rates for community organizations and educational programs. Groups of 20 or more are encouraged to attend this uplifting production, which serves as a perfect opportunity for lasting memories while supporting the arts in the community. Program advertisements are also available in multiple sizes, offering an opportunity for local businesses and supporters to congratulate cast members and help offset production costs.
